Lorenzo Jefferson of Amelia, Virginia departed this life on April 12, 2022, at his home. He was affectionately known to all  as “Rinnie”. Rinnie was  the son of  the  late Thomas  Jefferson,  Sr. and Ella Elizabeth Jeter Jefferson.

Rinnie was educated at Russell Grove school in Amelia, Virginia. He was employed at Cofer Storage Warehouse in Richmond, Virginia until his health failed. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rinnie confessed Jesus Christ and joined Union Baptist Church in Amelia, Virginia.

He leaves to cherish fond memories; a devoted son, Lorenza Keith Jefferson (Cassandra) and She-Rhonda Jefferson all of Chesterfield, VA, Anthony Reed of Burkeville, VA; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; five brothers, Thomas Jefferson, Sr. (Sadie), Alphonso, Maurice (Velma) all of Amelia, VA; Elton of Chesterfield, VA, Gilbert of Augusta, GA; sister, Antionette Jefferson of Chesterfield, VA; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends. The mothers of his children Edith Stokes and Gloria Wilson.

 

Funeral services will be at the Albright Memorial Cemetery
