Eunice Ann Finney earned her heavenly wings on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Eunice, also known as "Candy Ann" by family and friends, was the daughter of the late Lee (Bumble Bee) and Thelma (Lady) Finney.
Eunice attended Amelia County Public Schools before leaving for Maryland. While in Maryland, she obtained her GED.
Eunice accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Shirley Ann Finney. Eunice worked at Medstar Washington Hospital Center for twenty years before moving on to the Children's National Hospital where she worked as a O. R. Tech Aide for fifteen years until leaving for heaven.
Eunice was a sharp dresser and loved to travel. She traveled to places like Jamaica, Hawaii and many other beautiful places. But what she loved the most was her Dallas Cowboys (her boys) and spending time with her loving friends.
Eunice was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Carolyn Finney Hamlin, and brother, Arthur Lee Finney.
Eunice was a caring, loving and giving person. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beautiful daughter, (Kim) Shirley Ann Finney-Hollis (Claude); beautiful granddaughter, Layla Simone Williams; sisters, Julia Stokes (John), Shirley Pritchett, Thelma Goodwyn (Willie); Brothers, James Finney (Dorothy), Charles Finney (Kim), Ricky Finney (Fonda); Aunts, Beatrice Head (Sterling), Hattie Hill, Rosa Royal (Joseph), Margaret Booker (James); uncles, Charles Finney (Queen), James Jones, Frank Jones (Ethel), Thomas Jones (Sarah); a host of beautiful nieces and handsome nephews, devoted friend and roommate, Wynola Wiley, and devoted friend, Elizabeth Burnett, and a host of loving family and friends.
